Since its inception in 2010, a key goal of the Catskill Environmental Research & Monitoring (CERM) Conference has been to support student researchers interested in working in the Catskills. The Student Research Breakfast Symposium is designed with that in mind.
At CERM 2025, the Student Research Symposium introduced beginning researchers to the Catskills and to research topics important to the region. Students had the chance to interact with professionals working in the Catskills and learn about educational, funding, and fellowship opportunities currently available.
Student Scholarship Opportunity
Scholarships covered all conference fees for 22 students to attend the Student Research Symposium on Friday, October 24, 2025.
