Student Research Breakfast Agenda
Friday, October 28 at 9AM
Since its inception in 2010, a key goal of the Catskill Research and Monitoring Conference has been to encourage environmental research in the Catskills. The organizations that sponsor the conference particularly want to support student researchers interested in working in the Catskills. The Student Research Breakfast Symposium was designed with that in mind.
Interested students and faculty will hear:
- a broad overview of the rich history of research in the Catskills, and how student research work can build on that history
- what research topics are of highest priority for Catskills resource managers, as potential topics for student research projects
- what new funding is available for student environmental research
- how previous student researchers managed their projects
Registration for this event is closed. CERM provided financial support through conference scholarships to students attending the research breakfast.
